Mail Address Review utility Version 1.00
This is a simple utility which will display in one of two formats:
1) no arguments on the command line.
In this form, the domain information is processed and all the
outgoing mail addresses will be displayed, one per line.
In this mode, the program must be run from the DOMAINAREA.
2) Specify particular domain file(s) on the command line. The
domain area is made up of directories labeled with numbers from
0 to the highest domain used. Each directory will contain a
set of files with the name 0, 1, 2, ect. Each file is a mail
message. The map.sys file describes which directory belongs to
which domain. Invoking the program with:
MR 0/0 0/1 0/2
would dump the headers of the first three mail messages to the
domain associated with directory "0". On my system, this would
result in the following output:
94Aug28 from Tony Preston@The Amiga Zone_NJ to Sifu@Nest Glorious
94Aug26 from Tony Preston@The Amiga Zone_NJ to Sifu@Mars Hill
94Aug30 from Tony Preston@The Amiga Zone_NJ to Sifu@Nest Glorious
Note: If you have no outgoing mail at the time you run this utility
or the files (as in 0/0, 0/1, or 0/2) do not exist, the program will
not complain since it is normal for this to occur on occasion.
If you have any questions about this utility or problems feel free to
post a message in the CITADEL 68K room or send me domain mail at:
Tony Preston@The Amiga Zone_NJ
